Aceh War - Netherlands or Aceh War is the war The Sultanate of Aceh against the Netherlands began in 1873 until 1904. The Aceh Sultanate departed in January 1904, but the Acehnese war with guerrilla warfare continued.


On March 26, 1873,the Dutch declared war for Aceh and began releasing cannons into the mainland of Aceh from the warship Citadel van Antwerpen. On April 5, 1873, the Dutch landed at Pante Ceureumen under the leadership of Johan Harmen Rudolf Kohlar, and immediately mastered the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque. Kohlar at that time brought 3,198 soldiers. 168 were approved by officers


The First Aceh War (1873-1874) was led by Panglima Polim and Sultan Mahmud Syah against the Dutch led by Kohlar. Kohlar with 3000 soldiers was broken, where Kohlar himself was killed on April 14, 1873. Ten days later, wars raged everywhere. The biggest one is recapturing the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, which is assisted by several groups of troops. There are in Peukan Aceh, Lambhuk, Lampung, Peukan Bada, until Lambada, Krueng Raya. Several thousand people also came from Teunom, Pidie, Peusangan, and several other regions.

First, the use of punctuation in the sentence of "On March 26, 1873 the Dutch declared war for Aceh, and began..." after the year "1873" it appears that you are missing a comma. Then, after the word "Aceh" it appears that you have unnecessary comma in compound predicate. it will be better if you remove the comma. Second, the use of spelling in the word "kohler" it appears that kohler may be a proper noun in this context, so you should to write it in the Capital letter for "Kohlar".
